31 days Project: Day 4

Day 4 of the 31 days project – ZOMBIES!!!

Today we look at the TV programme the walking dead. In this clip it is being explained how the virus shuts down the brain and kick starts the brain stem resulting in infected humans becoming zombies! The Zombie argument in dualism states that one can imagine, and, therefore, conceive the existence of, an apparently functioning human being/body without any conscious states being associated with it (reference). In this respect Zombies cannot experience pain without the emotional, reasoning, higher centres of the brain hence why limbs can be chopped off but the zombie does not express pain behavior. They just keep coming to eat your brains!!! Enjoy!!
