Day 17 of the Big Naked Pain and Brain Campaign: Storm metaphor

Another clip from Forest Gump reflects the current journey that Lieutenant Dan is on regarding his suffering after loosing his legs in the Vietnam War. If we consider the storm to be that of pain that he suffers he faces it head on screaming and shouting in the hope that it gives him either one of two things ends his suffering or changes his life forever, which in the movie it certainly does (reference).
