31 days project: Day 1

Day 1 of the Big Naked Pain and Brain Campaign – Tom and Jerry

I could have chosen loads of cartoons, Warner Bros, Disney etc but for me Tom and Jerry had to be the most obvious choice to start off the official 1st day! Tom and Jerry are renowned for getting themselves into all sorts of mischief which usually ends up in Tom being hurt. They highlight and capture a wonderfully expressive genre of pain emphasizing many different reactions and retaliations of pain.  Tom and Jerry was a childhood cartoon for me and yet their pain brought me pleasure. I like to assume that watching them molded a part of my understanding of pain. What are your thoughts?? (reference, reference, reference)
